I mainly work freehand with ink and pencil, depending on the brief scanning and colouring occasionally in Photoshop.

I start each new project by incorporating elements of reportage as a means of reference then use abstraction to focus and explore, documenting objects, environments and anything that can potentially be developed into ideas.

I enjoy being able to work in different ways, having a varying range of work within my portfolio offers a degree of flexibility and choice. Other common elements besides style make up and underpin my work.
